Master Bathroom, Before
This is our master bathroom. Unfortunately it's not scheduled for quite some time. So I'm thinking we will probably do a quick-n-dirty facelift in here so that we can brighten it up, sinc the whole room is just brown, brown, brown, beige, brown. Blergh.
There is a separate shower. Which is a good thing, because the tub is useless. There's not enough hot water in the hot water heater to fill it up more than a few inches! But it's all coordinated, I suppose, in a lovely, 1980s almond. With oak! Check out our fancy oak toilet seat!
I suppose almond fixtures aren't that bad, and the wallpaper is..., well, the wallpaper is just very dreary. But then we have alllllll the broken, center-pull faux porcelain knobs. On the cabinet above the toilet up there...
...and on the very dilapidated vanity (most of the drawers are broken)...
...aaaaand the medicine cabinet. Oh, yeah.
At least you can see all of this fabulous decor in crystal clarity thanks to the unbelievably huge drop-ceiling flourescent lighting.
Yes, folks, that's my master bathroom. What it lacks in color it makes up for in quantity. It's not pretty, but there's a whole lot OF it. Wheeee!
(For the record, I am very, very grateful to have an ensuite bathroom that has plenty of room. I just hope that someday it will be somewhat less BROWN.)
